This is a comprehensive balance and fall recovery series that is chair-based. In this series of 6 classes there are 3 mini workshops with the anatomy of balance along with other pertinent facts about how balance can be impacted, what automatic strategies exist within the body, how to recover and rise up from a fall, etc. We'll spend time mobilizing and suppling the toes, feet, and ankles as our balance foundation. In addition, there is a very specific balance progression where we'll discuss the "cone of stability" and practice a variety of balancing postures with different challenges introduced.
