Delve into a practice for down-regulating the nervous system. For part of this practice we'll use light weights (3 lbs or lower and you could use water bottles, cans, or just curl your fingers). Enjoy a blend of weights and seated movements in this pre-recorded practice that puts the body/mind in just the right place. Journeying from many slow, breath-infused movements, you'll strengthen the bones with weights, and down-regulate with several yogic practices like an inversion, an energy configuration, and two beneficial breathing practices. Wrapping up with deep relaxation which is also a mindfulness practice called Yoga Nidra and meditation. In addition, you will also learn a special breathing practice called Brahmari breath or the "bee breath" that provides numerous benefits to the body including the flow of blood to the organs, boosting of immunity, decreasing blood pressure, and anti-inflammatory action in the arteries.
