Is your back out of whack? Extra gentle yoga for back care is a mat-based class that offers traditional hatha poses, where range of motion movements and some longer held, supported, gentle postures are infused. It is based on the teachings from my certification with Dr. Loren Fishman (who wrote the book, Yoga for Back Pain) and who "prescribes" yoga in his NYC-based medical office. Practice self-care with this perfect blend of gentle stretch and gentle strengthening, ending with deep relaxation and meditation. You'll feel the peace in this virtual experience. Have a strap handy or men's tie or even belt from a robe or long scarf/towel. We'll also use a yoga block as a prop.
