Have you ever heard the cue, "Don't let your knees go past your ankles?" I have heard it countless times in group fitness classes and in yoga practice. In the upcoming series focused on knees, we'll unpack this cue and why I no longer use it (hint: It's not correct). The next 6 class series (both Chair and Mat) will focus on Therapeutic Yoga for Healthy Knees. We'll go over the the bones, ligaments, and muscles of the knees along with how the knees factor into functional, every day movements and yoga. We'll strengthen and stretch the key muscles around the knees too!
