Give your body/mind the awareness and attention it needs to balance the daily impact and challenges of modern life. Enjoy an experience infused with mindfulness, yin poses (longer held, supported, meditative and quiet) and restorative poses. In yin yoga, each shape allows the student to deeply connect with sensation in the body. On a physical level, longer held postures allow connective tissue, ligaments, and tendons to release and soften prompting healing, hydrating, and balance of yang (stronger energy, force). Both yin and yang are complimentary to each other and exist in all things. Some gentle movements will enable suppleness.
