Do you get gut feelings? You may just think these feelings are “in your head,” however, research suggests that our brains and our guts (our digestive systems) are closely linked. Think about the last time you had to do something stressful. How did your stomach feel? Experts see stress as a prime contributor to a range of digestive problems. In this clinic we'll explore some well-researched facts and walk through the research. In addition, I'll share some personal recommendations that go beyond eating more fiber, moving, and drinking more water. We'll also practice several postures from the floor, mat, and standing that prompt movement in the digestive system. Lot of information sharing in this. You don't want to miss it! Clinics are designed for information sharing and are different from regular classes which have regular practices. They are meant to serve as a topline summary of the specific area of interest. Clinics are free to current series (6 classes/chair or mat) students and open to non-series students as a drop in student at the current drop in rate.
